Harmony backers will vote on boosting supply of One token
Horizon bridge lost about $100 million to hackers in June
The developers behind the Harmony crypto blockchain network that was hacked for almost $100 million in June proposed reimbursing users that lost money in the heist.
In a proposal published Tuesday, the team behind the Harmony ecosystem suggested upgrading the blockchain’s software to increase the supply of its One token. Crypto wallets that lost funds in the hack could then claim distributions of the coin, to be made monthly over three years. The validators who are responsible for verifying transactions on the network will vote on the proposal from Aug. 1 to Aug. 15.
