There’s a new shop coming to San Francisco’s Hayes Valley, but it’s not your traditional brick-and-mortar establishment. The DeStore “STORE_0” will be collectively owned and operated by members of a so-called decentralized autonomous organization. That is, anyone will be able to buy a blockchain-based crypto token that represents ownership in the store, and vote on what it buys and sells. The greater the value of the token, the greater the owner’s voting power.
