1 – Significant Adjustment Takes Place on Cronos Chain
Recently, Cronos Chain revealed that significant changes had been made to its block size. It has increased to 40 million gas, which is also double the previous size. In other words, they will now be able to carry out double the number of transactions in a day.
Notably, this change in block sizes won’t have a major effect on transaction fees despite the fee market mechanism from the last upgrade.
This upgrade follows an earlier upgrade on the 15th of May. However, the Cronos team still want to optimize the blockchain to improve throughput for DeFi and Web3 gaming use cases.
