CryptoSnack_LaLiga football club RCD Espanyol de Barcelona signed a sponsorship agreement with iGaming Token Crypto Snack, making it the first crypto to appear in the video game FIFA 23. Also known as Espanyol, the professional sports club is based in Cornellá, Spain.
“Both our team and our community are very happy with this step forward in the crypto world; Crypto Snack is the FIRST token to be featured in the FIFA game as an Official Club Sponsor,” said Facundo Miniello, Digital Communications Manager for Crypto Snack.
Crypto Snack, built on BNB Chain, is the world’s fastest-growing iGaming token. The collaboration with Espanyol reflects the increasing adoption of cryptocurrency in the sports industry in Europe and worldwide.
The agreement allows for accepting crypto payments in Espanyol’s RCDE Stadium, Barcelona, for three years. Cryptocurrencies include Bitcoin, Ethereum and SNACK. The deal also includes the Crypto Snack logo appearing on the team’s uniforms.
