It’s a rainy Tuesday evening in New York, and I’m dawdling along in the most serpentine line I’ve ever stood in. Leading towards Time Square’s Palladium Theater, the queue wraps around three blocks and takes over an hour to get through. It resembles a line for a Drake or Kanye West concern; there are more men than women, but not by much. Everyone is young. Everyone is more stylishly dressed than me.
