Trinseo Participates in Sustainable Material Blockchain Project by ISCC and Circularise - Wednesday, September 14, 2022
Trinseo has partnered with Circularise and ISCC in a pilot blockchain project to establish traceability and secure data exchange for supply chains of sustainable materials. This is the first time 10 chemical industry players and appliance companies came together to test a blockchain-based digital system as part of a sustainability certification process of complex value chains.
"Having an unswerving belief in scientific approaches, Trinseo fully supports this blockchain initiative to enhance transparency and accuracy of the flow of sustainable materials in the value chain. The collaboration with Circularise and ISCC+ will benefit all stakeholders including end-users while driving the realization of circularity," said Francesca Reverberi, Trinseo's Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer.
